Webster Lewis was an outstanding track and field performer at Morgan State University, making his mark as a member of the Bears’ Mile Relay teams in 1941 and 1942. His contributions on the track helped establish him among Morgan State’s notable early-era track and field athletes.

Lewis was inducted posthumously into the Morgan State University Varsity “M” Club Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004 as part of a distinguished class honoring former Morgan State coaches and athletes.
