Morgan State University Athletics

Tim McCready was a member of Morgan State University’s historic 1967 CIAA Championship Golf Team, which captured the first CIAA golf championship in Morgan State history. Competing under head coach Dr. Julius Taylor, McCready joined teammates Rodney “Binx” Watts, Allen “Frog” Wilson, Richard “Dick” Brown, and John Bullock as part of a championship team that established a lasting legacy for Morgan State golf.

McCready was also recognized as one of Baltimore’s local golf legends and remained a lifelong friend and teammate of Watts.
