Hall of Fame
Allen “Frog” Wilson was a member of Morgan State University’s historic 1967 CIAA Championship Golf Team, which captured the first CIAA golf championship in Morgan State history. Competing under legendary golf coach Dr. Julius Taylor, Wilson joined teammates Rodney “Binx” Watts, Tim McCready, Richard “Dick” Brown and John Bullock in establishing a lasting legacy for Morgan State golf.
Wilson remained active in the sport and became an important figure in Baltimore’s African American golf community. He was among the members of Morgan State’s 1967 championship team honored by the university with induction into the Varsity “M” Club Hall of Fame in 2004.
