John “Tiny” Andrews was a dominant defensive lineman for the Morgan State Golden Bears, earning All-MEAC honors twice during his collegiate career. His strength and performance along the defensive front established him as one of Morgan State’s standout defensive players of his era.
Andrews continued his football career at the professional level, becoming a standout defensive lineman in the National Football League with the Miami Dolphins and Detroit Lions. His success at both the collegiate and professional levels cemented his place among Morgan State’s notable football alumni.
Andrews was inducted into the Morgan State University Varsity “M” Club Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004 as part of a distinguished class of former coaches and athletes.
