Bears Abroad: Former Morgan State Standouts Continue to Shine in Pro Basketball

BALTIMORE, Md. (Feb. 23, 2026) -- Former Morgan State men's basketball players are making their presence felt across the global professional ranks, delivering standout performances while representing the Bears on international stages. From Qatar to Europe and South America, Morgan alumni continue to showcase their skill, consistency, and professionalism, serving as ambassadors of the program while competing at the highest levels of international basketball.

Stanley Davis Jr.
Stanley Davis Jr. | KK TFT Skopje (North Macedonia)

Former Morgan State standout Stanley Davis Jr. continues to shine overseas, turning in a dominant performance in North Macedonia's top league.

The 6-foot-5 guard, a 2020 graduate and All-MEAC Third Team selection, poured in 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds in 33 minutes to lead KK TFT Skopje to a thrilling 84–80 derby victory over ninth-ranked KK Feniks 2010 in the Prva Liga. Davis' all-around effort earned him Game MVP honors as TFT secured its ninth straight win.

With the victory, TFT improved to 15–1 on the season and remains in second place in the league standings, showcasing one of the strongest campaigns in club history.

In his debut season with TFT, Davis has made an immediate impact. Through 14 games, he is averaging 17.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per contest, emerging as one of the league's most consistent performers. Davis continues to build an impressive professional résumé, carrying the winning tradition from Morgan State onto the international stage.

Malik Miller
Malik Miller | Groningen (Netherlands)

Former Morgan State guard Malik Miller continues his professional career overseas, competing in the BNXT League with Donar Groningen.

The 6-foot-4, 26-year-old Bears alumnus (Class of 2023) recorded 7 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists in 31 minutes of action in Groningen's 86–78 loss to the Leuven Bears. Groningen now sits at 10–8 on the season, while Leuven improved to 11–10 with the win.

Despite the loss, Miller delivered a strong all-around performance, impacting the game on the glass and as a facilitator.

Through 18 games this season, Miller is averaging 10.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.7 steals per contest, continuing to establish himself as a versatile contributor in one of Europe's competitive cross-border leagues.

Phil Carr | UniFacisa Paraiba (Brazil)

Former Morgan State standout Phil Carr continues to make his presence felt overseas, delivering a strong performance in Brazil's top professional league.
 
The 6-foot-9 forward, a 2018 graduate and All-MEAC First Team selection, posted a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds in just 24 minutes to lead Basquete Unifacisa to an 82–67 victory over Pato Basquete in the Novo Basquete Brasil.
 
The win was a pivotal one for Unifacisa (14–13), snapping a three-game losing streak and helping the club solidify its position at 12th in the league standings. Pato entered the matchup with a 7–21 record.
 
Through 12 games this season, Carr is averaging 7.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per contest, continuing to provide veteran leadership and interior presence as he builds his professional résumé in Brazil.

Myles Douglas
Myles Douglas | Zubry Bialystok (Poland)

Former Morgan State forward Myles Douglas continues his professional career overseas, competing in Poland's second division, the I Liga.

The 6-foot-8, 28-year-old Bears alumnus (Class of 2022) scored two points in 17 minutes of action as Żubry Białystok dropped a 93–73 road decision to Kotwica Kołobrzeg. Żubry, now 2–20 on the season, has faced a challenging campaign and currently sits at the bottom of the league standings. The setback marked the club's third consecutive loss, while Kotwica improved to 10–12.

Despite the difficult outing, Douglas has been a consistent contributor throughout the season. In 10 games, he is averaging 15.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest, continuing to serve as a key piece for Żubry as the team works to turn its season around.
