Malik Miller | Groningen (Netherlands)
Former Morgan State standout Malik Miller continues to make his mark on the international stage.

Miller, a 6-foot-4 guard who graduated from Morgan State in 2023 and now plays professionally in the Netherlands, delivered a standout performance last Wednesday, leading Donar Groningen to an 89–81 victory over eighth-ranked Kapfenberg Bulls in European North Basketball League (ENBL) action.

Miller was named the game's Most Valuable Player after pouring in a game-high 27 points while adding eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals in 34 minutes of play. His all-around effort fueled Groningen's statement win and highlighted his continued growth in just his third professional season.

Following the win, Donar Groningen finished the ENBL Regular Season with a 5–3 record, securing third place in the league standings. Miller has been a key contributor throughout the campaign, averaging 12.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.4 steals per game across eight contests.

As Groningen advances in its pursuit of an ENBL championship, Miller's consistent production remain central to the club's success—and further cement his emergence as one of the league's rising talents.

Troy Baxter Jr.

Troy Baxter Jr. | Al Shamal (Qatar)
Baxter Jr., a 6-foot-9 power forward and 2021 Morgan State alumnus, turned in a strong individual performance for Al Shamal despite an 83–92 loss to league-leading Al Rayyan in Qatar league action. In a tightly contested matchup, Baxter Jr. led all scorers with 25 points while adding four assists and shooting a perfect 5-for-5 from the free-throw line in a full 40 minutes of action.

The defeat marked Al Shamal's fifth consecutive loss, dropping the club to 6–9 on the season as it heads into a pivotal final game of the Regular Season with postseason implications on the line.

Even amid the team's recent struggles, Baxter Jr. has been one of Al Shamal's most consistent and impactful performers this year. Through 15 games, the veteran forward is averaging 16.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.4 blocks per game, providing a steady presence and bright spot during a challenging campaign.

As the regular season concludes, Baxter Jr.'s production and leadership remain critical as Al Shamal looks to finish strong.

Lewis Djonkam
Lewis Djonkam | Targu Jiu (Romania)
Former Morgan State standout Lewis Djonkam turned in a solid effort, but it was not enough to secure a road victory for Targu Jiu.

Djonkam, a 6-foot-9 forward and 2023 Morgan State graduate now playing professionally in Romania, recorded 13 points and eight rebounds in 22 minutes as Targu Jiu fell 89–78 to fifth-ranked Valcea. The loss dropped Targu Jiu to 1–15 on the season and marked the team's third consecutive defeat, as Valcea's depth and execution proved decisive down the stretch.

Despite the team's continued struggles, Djonkam has been a steady contributor throughout the campaign. In 16 appearances this season, the 28-year-old is averaging 11.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game, consistently providing energy and production in the frontcourt.

As Targu Jiu looks to regroup, Djonkam's reliable presence remains one of the program's bright spots during a challenging season.

Phil Carr
Phil Carr | UniFacisa Paraiba (Brazil)
Former Morgan State standout Phil Carr continues to contribute to winning basketball in Brazil.

Carr, a 6-foot-9 forward and 2018 Bears alumnus, helped UniFacisa Paraíba secure a 71–66 victory over 17th-ranked Fortaleza in Brazilian Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB) action, extending the club's winning streak to four games.

Although Carr finished with three points and five rebounds in 14 minutes, his presence and effort were impactful as UniFacisa executed down the stretch to close out the tightly contested matchup. The win improved UniFacisa Paraíba's record to 13–10, placing the team ninth in the league standings.

Now in his first season with the club, Carr has provided steady frontcourt depth and versatility, averaging 6.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game through nine appearances. His willingness to embrace his role and contribute in multiple ways has been an important factor in UniFacisa's recent success.

As the season progresses, Carr's experience and professionalism continue to play a key role as UniFacisa Paraíba pushes toward postseason positioning.

Myles Douglas
Myles Douglas | Zubry Bialystok (Poland)

Former Morgan State standout Myles Douglas delivered another strong performance, but it was not enough to lift Zubry Białystok to a victory.

Douglas, a 6-foot-8 forward and 2022 Morgan State graduate now playing professionally in Poland, recorded eight points, seven rebounds, and three blocks in 29 minutes as Zubry Białystok suffered a heartbreaking 67–66 loss to 11th-ranked Leszno in Polish 1 Liga (second division) action.

The narrow defeat dropped Zubry Białystok to 1–17 on the season and marked the team's fourth straight loss, as the game was decided in the closing moments.

Despite the club's ongoing struggles, Douglas has been a consistent bright spot. Through six games this season, he is averaging a team-high 15.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per contest, continuing to showcase his versatility and impact at both ends of the floor.

As Zubry Białystok looks to regroup, Douglas' steady production and defensive presence remain central to the team's efforts moving forward.
