WASHINGTON, D.C. - Morgan State head men's basketball coach Kevin Broadus was a guest speaker at the Second Annual Washington Wizards Coaches Workshop that was held at CareFirst Arena on Saturday, Sept. 20. The event was hosted by Wizards head coach Brian Keefe.

In addition to Keefe and Broadus, additional guest speakers included University of Maryland head coach Buzz Williams and George Washington head coach Chris Caputo. Broadus spoke for approximately 45 minutes and went through drill demonstrations as he was joined by his coaching staff and a select number of Morgan State student-athletes.   

"It was an honor and privilege be in the the presence of Brain Keefe, the Wizards head coach," said Broadus. "Anytime we can come together as coaches and give back to the public, exchange ideas, and grow the game, it's a win. I'm grateful for the opportunity."

The men's basketball team will open the 2025-26 season on Monday, Nov. 3 at Georgetown at Capital One Arena.
