MSU Track & Field Places 27 on the 2023 MEAC All-Academic Team

NORFOLK, Va. (May 8, 2023) —The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has announced the 2023 Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic selections, honoring 172 student-athletes from the conference's eight member institutions who have achieved academic success.

MEAC sophomore, junior and senior student-athletes with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average (GPA), as well as transfer student-athletes who have been in residence at the institution for at least one year, are eligible for All-Academic accolades.

"Congratulations to our outdoor track & field All-Academic student-athletes," MEAC Commissioner Sonja Stills said. "Education is the cornerstone of everything we do, both at the conference level and in intercollegiate athletics as a whole. Academic achievement is just as worthy of praise as anything accomplished in competition, if not more so."
