Morgan State women's tennis junior
Jourdan Wallace is participating in the NFL Events and Club Business Development Experience Program, through which she is learning about the business of football.
Â
"Because of the pandemic, the NFL has to take very special precautions and they have to see what works and what doesn't, and it's just never been done before," Wallace said in November.
Â
"It's just really excellent to see that [even though] they're going through a hard time, they're managing to pull off the great game of football while trying to keep the players safe and also the fans that attend."
Â
Wallace has also been using her free time to help in the community; in October, she paid a visit to First Fruits Farm in Freeland, Md., to bag potatoes to be given away later.
Â
"It was a great time," she said. "It was just nice to be able to help people and do it safely. Everyone there had fun. It was fun. We bagged over 7,000 pounds."
