PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (Feb. 21, 2026)--The Morgan State women's tennis dropped a hard fought 4-0 decision to Temple on Saturday night at Legacy Tennis Center.

The win was the third in a row for Temple (4-4), while Morgan State dropped its second in a row and fell to 2-5.

The Owls held off Morgan State in doubles play, claiming two of the three matches to take a 1-0 lead. The Lady Bears' pair of
Lauryn Hall and
Marta Serra Carles won their No. 1 doubles contest 7-6 (6-0).

Morgan State would lose three of the six singles matches played to the Owls for the final score.

Next Up: The Lady Bears will prepare for its 2026 home opener on Saturday, March 7 when they host Mount St. Mary's (MD) at 9 a.m., before facing Frostburg State at 2 p.m.
