Amy Begg is a pitcher for the Lady Bears softball team. As a native of Christchurch, New Zealand, Begg chose to continue her softball career at Morgan State because they do not have college softball in New Zealand and it was simply just an opportunity of a lifetime; one that could not be turned down.
 
The Lady Bears will head to Florida this weekend to face Stetson (Feb. 20-21), followed by a matchup with the University of Virginia and George Washington at the Citrus Invitational in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. (Feb. 22). The first home contest will be on Saturday, March 21, 2015 when Morgan State plays host to Hampton in a doubleheader at Lois T. Murray Field.

Where is the best place to study on campus? The best place for me to study would have to be the library. There are no distractions and it is quiet
Why did you choose to major in Psychology? I have always been drawn to and interested in it
My favorite class at Morgan State is?  Sociology
If you were the University President for a day, what would you do?  Build a softball field
Describe your first day as a student at Morgan State University? I got lost on the first day and it was absolutely freezing!
What do you like most about Morgan State?  The team! It is awesome to have a group of girls that I can talk to!
