Morgan State Places 20 on MEAC Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Team

NORFOLK, Va. (Feb. 20, 2026) — The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) announced its 2026 Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field All-Academic selections, recognizing 162 student-athletes from the league's Elite Eight member institutions for their excellence in the classroom.

Morgan State University had 20 members of its track & field program earn All-Academic honors for their academic achievements.

MEAC sophomore, junior, and senior student-athletes with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher, and transfer student-athletes who have been in residence at their institution for at least one year, are eligible for the honor.

"Congratulations to our indoor track & field All-Academic student-athletes," said MEAC Commissioner Sonja Stills. "Education is the cornerstone of everything we do, both at the conference level and in intercollegiate athletics as a whole. Academic achievement is just as worthy of praise as anything accomplished in competition, if not more so."
