LEXINGTON, Va. (Jan. 23, 2026) – The Morgan State men's and women's track & field teams continued their indoor season Friday at the VMI Invitational, battling for personal bests and team points within the CPTF–Corps Physical Training Facility in Lexington, Virginia.

Morgan State head coach Neville Hodge praised the team's effort and development.

After another strong showing, Morgan State head coach Neville Hodge praised the team's effort and growth.

"As a staff, we are very proud of the teams' performances today. Their effort showed what's needed for us to be a force in the MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). We executed and finished stronger than we did in our past two track meets. The juice is getting sweeter each week because we're seeing the benefits on the track. Go Bears!"

Both the men's and women's squads showed their grit and talent, walking away from the VMI Invitational with valuable experience as they gear up for the next challenge.
