Morgan Track & Field to Compete in HBCU Showcase in New York

BALTIMORE, Md. (Jan. 14, 2026) — The Morgan State men's and women's track & field teams will continue their indoor season on Saturday, Jan. 17, when they compete at The Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) Showcase presented by Nike Running. The meet will take place at The Armory in New York, New York, and will feature a strong field of HBCU track & field programs from across the country.

"The HBCU Track & Field Showcase is always a highly competitive meet, and we're looking forward to the challenge," said Morgan State coach Neville Hodge. "This competition gives us an early look at what to expect from some of the conference's top athletes. We will continue to prepare for the 2026 MEAC Indoor Championships, scheduled for February 21–23, embracing the challenge. Go Bears."

Some of the teams scheduled to compete include Bowie State, Coppin State, Hampton, Howard, Maryland Eastern Shore, Morgan State, Norfolk State, Prairie View A&M, and St. Augustine's.

Sections 409, 410, and 411. Rows 1 & 2, $35, Rows 3 & 4, $25.
General Admission Info: Adults $20, Students $10, Children under 3 feet 6 inches free
