NORFOLK, Va. (Sept. 24, 2025)—The Morgan State bowling team was picked to finish fifth in the 2025-26 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Preseason poll, as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.
North Carolina A&T State sophomore Victorya White was named the 2025–26 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Preseason Bowler of the Year, while reigning champion N.C. A&T was selected as preseason favorite to capture the conference title.
The preseason team and predicted order of finish were determined by a vote of the league's head bowling coaches and sports information directors.
The Aggies earned 12 first-place votes and 110 points to claim the top spot. Maryland Eastern Shore finished second with 101 points (1 first-place vote), followed by Delaware State (83 points) and last year's MEAC Tournament runners-up, University of Alabama at Birmingham (78 points, 2 first-place votes). Morgan State (64) was picked fifth, followed by Howard (41), Coppin State (34), and Norfolk State (23) to round out the poll.
Morgan State begins the 2025-26 season on the road in Hackensack, N.J. for the New Jersey Open (Oct. 17-19), hosted by Fairleigh Dickinson.
The 2026 MEAC Bowling Championship gets underway, March 20-22, 2026.
