TOWSON, Md. (Nov. 9, 2025)--The Morgan State bowling team on Sunday completed the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Meet #1 at AMF Towson Lanes with a 4-3 mark in Baker format matches to finish third with 6,084 pins.

Five-time defending MEAC champion and seventh-ranked North Carolina A&T, along with 23
rd-ranked Delaware State finished tied for second in the standings with 5-2 records, while Morgan State sits in third with identical 4-3 records with Alabama-Birmingham and Coppin State. The MEAC Meet #2 is scheduled for February 21-22, 2026 in Norfolk, Va.

The host Lady Bears began Saturday's competition going 2-2 on the opening day. Morgan State would defeat Norfolk State by a score of 901-604, before falling to Howard (716-834). MSU then took down 16
th-ranked Maryland Eastern Shore, 941-862 and ended the day with a loss to five-time defending MEAC champion North Carolina A&T (815-964).

Morgan State came out on Sunday and dropped its opening match to last year's MEAC Championship runner-up, Alabama-Birmingham (821-939). The Lady Bears would regroup and finish up the remainder of the day strong, securing victories over Delaware State (945-781) and crosstown rival Coppin State (945-743).

The Lady Bears will return to action on Saturday, Nov. 15 when they take part in the CSU Lady Eagles Invitational (Nov. 15-16), hosted by Coppin State at AMF Woodlawn in Gwynn Oak, Md.
