"Today's races were about missed opportunities on both the men's and women's sides," said Head Coach Neville Hodge. "However, we still had several student-athletes who stepped up and earned MEAC honors. On the women's side, Crystal Coke earned All-MEAC recognition, and freshman Natalia Eastman had a strong personal-best performance. For the men, Caleb Mincey and Natnael Gebremariam both ran extremely well to earn All-MEAC honors, with Natnael, Samuel Skinner, and Cameon Stuckless each adding big personal bests."

Hodge added, "Despite the missed opportunities, I'm proud of the way both teams performed — they didn't back down. They faced their challenges head-on and gave everything they had. Go Bears!"
