Five Bears Earn Top MEAC Academic Honors in Cross Country

NORFOLK, Va. (October 30, 2025) -- The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has announced its 2025 Cross Country All-Academic Team, recognizing 72 student-athletes from the league's eight member institutions for their exceptional academic performance during the 2025–26 academic year.

Morgan State proudly placed five representatives on the list: Hemetii Apet, Crystal Coke, Aaliyah Headley, Caleb Mincey, and Samuel Skinner.

To be eligible for MEAC All-Academic recognition, student-athletes must be sophomores, juniors, or seniors maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Transfer student-athletes who have been enrolled at their respective institutions for at least one academic year are also considered.

The announcement comes as the Morgan State men's and women's cross country teams prepare to compete at the 2025 MEAC Cross Country Championships, set for Saturday, November 1, at MakeMed Park in Cary, North Carolina.
