Personal:  son of Ann and Joshua Skinner  … born September 21, 2005 … business management and administration major … expected to graduate May 2028 … goes by “Sam” …  his career ambition is “is to establish myself in the field of Business, with a focus on entrepreneurship and leadership. I aim to either manage a successful company or start my own business, using the skills and discipline I’ve gained through both my academic journey and my experience as a student-athlete” … his biggest sports influence “is myself. I’m always pushing myself to be better, setting higher goals, and holding myself accountable to reach them. I’ve learned to compete with my own potential, focusing on being better than I was yesterday rather than just comparing myself to others. My journey in sports is all about the lessons I take from every win and every loss, and I’m proud to say that I’m my own biggest motivation” … chose to attend Morgan State “because from the first time I stepped on campus, I felt like I was home. Coming to Morgan allows me to not only stay close to my family but also provides me with the chance to take my athletic ability to the next level. After speaking with the Coaches and school faculty on my visit I felt like Morgan was a place I could go where the people around me were truly invested in my success” … “I’m proud to be the first in my family to attend Morgan State University.
