NORFOLK, Va. (Sept. 25, 2024)--Morgan State senior
Abigail Fisher was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola. It is the first weekly honor this season for Fisher.

A native of Clarendon, Jamaica, Fisher captured first place at the Soaring Hawks Invitational 5k race over the weekend hosted by Maryland Eastern Shore. Fisher led all MEAC runners with a season-best time of 20:03.2 to help Morgan State to a second-place team finish.

Morgan State will be off until Saturday, Oct. 12, when it travels to Newark, N.J. to compete in the NJIT Highlander Challenge.
