BALTIMORE, Md. (Oct. 19, 2024)--The Morgan State men's and women's cross country teams will close out the 2024 regular season this Saturday, Oct. 19, when they travel to Gettysburg, Pa., to compete in the 35
th Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College.

Named after former assistant and head coach Aubrey Shenk, the women's 6k race will take place at 10 a.m. with the men's race beginning at 11 a.m.

The men's team are coming off an eighth-place finish at last week's NJIT Highlander Challenge.
Perry Bennett led the Bears with a time of 26:54.3 to finish the 8k course in 25
th place.

Abigail Fisher, last week the Lady Bears placed sixth out of 31 teams at the NJIT Highlander Challenge. Fisher ran a personal-best time of 19:34.5 to finish 18
th overall.

Following the Aubrey Shenk Invitational, Morgan State will be off until Saturday, Nov. 2, when it competes in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championship in Smyrna, Del.
