Final Results
SMYRNA, Del. (Sept. 13, 2024) — Morgan State senior men's cross country runner Perry Bennett led the Bears with a top-10 performance at the DSU Sting Invitational hosted by Delaware State on Friday evening at the DSU Farm Course.Â
Bennet crossed the finish line in eighth place with a season-best time of 16:09.10 in the 5000m event. Davian Gray claimed 15th place with a time of 16:52.00.
Morgan's team saw strong performances from Rushshane Fullerton and Caleb Mincey at the meet. Fullerton led the way with a 19th-place finish, clocking in at 17:09.00. Closely trailing him, Mincey secured a 20th-place finish with a time of 17:11.90. Dante Jackson also contributed finishing in 46th place with a time of 22:37.00.. Â
Morgan returns to action on Saturday, September 21 at the UMES Soaring Hawks Invite Invitational in Princess Anne, Maryland.Â
