BALTIMORE, Md. (August 6, 2024) -- The Morgan State University football team is eagerly anticipating the start of their 2024 season, which will kick off with their annual media day on Sunday, August 11th. The event will be held at Hughes Stadium, the Bears' home field, beginning at 12 p.m.
Following the official headshots and team photo at Hughes Stadium, the team will head to Hill Field House for additional photo sessions, starting at 1:30 p.m. These pictures will be used for promotional materials, team publications, and other media purposes.
Head coach Damon Wilson, along with his coaching staff and players, will be available for interviews from noon to 1 p.m. at the team's practice facility. This event is closed to the public and will provide an opportunity for media members to speak with the team ahead of their upcoming season.
Following this event, MSU opens the 2024 season against Hampton on Saturday, Aug. 31, at Armstrong Stadium. The game with the Pirates begins at 7 p.m.

The 2024 football season at Hughes Stadium promises to be filled with excitement and anticipation. Six thrilling home games are scheduled to take place, kicking off with a captivating matchup against the Hampton Pirates on Saturday, August 31. This game marks the first time these two teams have faced each other since 2016, adding an extra layer of excitement to the season opener.
