Bears Set to Compete at the 2023 Duke Invitational

BALTIMORE, Md. (April 6, 2023) – Morgan State men's track and field keeps the outdoor season rolling when they head to Durham, N.C. to take part this weekend in the Duke Invitational set for April 6-8 at Morris Williams Stadium.
 
The Duke Invitational features over 30 total teams, including the likes of: Appalachian State, East Carolina, Michigan State, North Carolina, Norfolk State, and Pittsburgh. The three-day meet will begin on Thursday with doors opening at 10 a.m. The first event on Thursday will be the women's hammer throw at 10 a.m. and the men's hammer at 1 p.m.. Friday's first track event will begin with the heptathlon at 11 a.m. and the decathlon will start at 12 p.m., while the field events start at 2 p.m. 
 
Saturday's events will begin at 10 a.m. with the women's high jump and the coveted 4x100m men relays will begin with the women running at 11:30 a.m. and the men running at 11:40 a.m.
