MSU Track & Field to Compete at Towson Invitational

BALTIMORE, Md. (March 30, 2023) —
 The Morgan University women's track and field team will compete in the annual Towson Invitational at Johnny Unitas® Stadium from March 31 - April 1.

On both days the field events will begin at noon with the women's hammer throw/men shot put on Friday and the men's javelin/women discus on Saturday. Friday's running events will begin with the 400m hurdles at 2 p.m. and on Saturday the 4x100m at 12 p.m. 

Men's and women's competitors from Towson, Delaware State, Coppin State, Morgan State, Howard, Johns Hopkins, UMBC and George Washington are among the teams competing over the two-day competition.

The Morgan women's team finished with eight top-10 finishes at last year's Towson Invitational, while the men's team ended with a pair of event titles and seven top 5 finishes.
 
Looking Ahead   
Up next, the Bears will travel to Durham, N.C. to participate in the Duke Invitational (April 6-8) at Morris Williams Stadium on the campus of Duke University. For more information on the meet click here.
