NORFOLK, Va. (March 1, 2023)--Morgan State junior bowler
Cheyenne Washington was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., Washington was named to the New Jersey Open All-Tournament Team after leading Morgan State to a second-place finish. A native of Pontiac, Mich., she averaged 216.0 pins in traditional play, including a 232.25 average in her last five games and a weekend best of 265.

For the weekend, Washington averaged 21.46 pins per frame, had a 54.6 strike percentage and averaged 9.16 pins on first ball. In Baker play, she averaged 21.41 pins per frame and the weekend saw her record an 89.2 fill percentage.
