Bears basketball announces date for 'Morgan Madness’ Morgan Madness Set for Nov. 1

BALTIMORE, Md. — Update your calendars, Morgan State basketball fans.

The Bears have announced their annual open practice event — Morgan Madness — will take place on Wednesday, November 1 this year. This is the event where the Bears men's and women's basketball teams interact with fans and have an open scrimmage.

Morgan Madness will be held on Wednesday, November 1 at Hill Field House.  MSU's 2023 annual event celebrates the beginning of the 2023-24 season for both the men's and women's basketball teams.

Doors to the Hill Field House will open at 6 p.m.  General Admission $10 and FREE for current Morgan State students with current Bear ID. 

* Students must pick up their FREE ticket (with current Bear ID card) from the University Student Center box office for entry into the event.

The formal program will begin at 7 p.m. and feature the introduction of the men's and women's basketball teams as well as brief team scrimmages. Students, student-athletes, and faculty will participate in contests throughout the evening.  There will also be performances by the Morgan State Magnificent Marching Machine, Morgan State cheerleaders, and the Morganettes dance team.
