GETTYSBURG, Pa. (Oct. 14, 2023)--The Morgan State women's cross country team ended the regular season on a chilly and rainy Saturday morning, competing in the Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College.
 
The Lady Bears finished the 6K race placing 11^th out of 28 teams. NOVA Running Club captured the team title. Saint Francis-Pa. came in second, while Saint Bonaventure was third.
 
Morgan State was led by Abigail Fisher, who crossed the line in a time of 23:48.0 to place 35^th. Jessica Lamborn ran a time of 24:31.2 to place 73^rd, while Jalissa Emmens (24:40.6) placed 78^th. Asydiah Pray-Brown also finished within the top 100, completing the course in a time of 25:01.1 to finish 96^th.
 
The Lady Bears will be off next week, before competing in the 2023 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday, Oct. 28 in Smyrna, Del.
