GETTYSBURG, Pa. (Oct. 14, 2023)--The Morgan State women's cross country team ended the regular season on a chilly and rainy Saturday morning, competing in the Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College.

The Lady Bears finished the 6K race placing 11
th out of 28 teams. NOVA Running Club captured the team title. Saint Francis-Pa. came in second, while Saint Bonaventure was third.

Morgan State was led by
Abigail Fisher, who crossed the line in a time of 23:48.0 to place 35
th.
Jessica Lamborn ran a time of 24:31.2 to place 73
rd, while
Jalissa Emmens (24:40.6) placed 78
th.
Asydiah Pray-Brown also finished within the top 100, completing the course in a time of 25:01.1 to finish 96
th.

The Lady Bears will be off next week, before competing in the 2023 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday, Oct. 28 in Smyrna, Del.
