NORFOLK, Va. (Sept. 28, 2022)--Senior
Rachel Field was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola, as announced by the league office today. It was the second straight week Field has earned the honor this season and the fifth time in her career.

A native of San Tan Valley, Ariz., Field paced the Lady Bears and the MEAC field at the Delaware State Sting Invitational, completing the 5K course in a personal-best time of 19:19.3 to finish seventh on the individual leaderboard. It was the second consecutive week that Field set a personal-best time. Her time is the fourth-fastest in the conference at that distance so far this season.

Morgan State returns to action next Friday, Oct. 7 when it competes in the Delaware State Farm Invitational at 3 p.m.
