NORFOLK, Va. (Sept. 21, 2022)--Morgan State senior
Rachel Field was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola, as announced by the league office today. It is her first MEAC weekly honor this season.

Field ran a personal-best 5k time of 19:42.6 to capture the individual title at the Delaware State University Sting Invite last Saturday. A native of San Tan Valley, Ariz., Field was one of three Lady Bears to place in the top-10 to help Morgan State to a second-place team finish.

The Lady Bears return to action this Saturday, Sept. 24, when they travel to Princess Anne, Md. to take part in the Maryland Eastern Shore Farm Run, hosted by the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) is in its 52
nd year of intercollegiate competition with the 2022-23 academic school year.
