NORFOLK, Va. (Oct. 13, 2021)-Morgan State juniorÂ
Rachel Field was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola, as announced by the conference office today.
This is her second MEAC weekly honor of the season. She also received the award on Sept. 8 after running the MEAC's fastest 4K time of the weekend of 16:17.30 at the Towson Invitational.

The San Tan Valley, Ariz., native finished fourth in the Jack Saint Clair Memorial hosted by Jefferson College, completing the 6K course in 25:03.20. It was the fourth straight meet in which Field was Morgan's lead runner.

Field and the Morgan State women's cross country team will be back in action this Saturday, Oct. 16, when the Lady Bears travel to Gettysburg, Pa. for the Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College.
