PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (Oct. 9, 2021)-The Morgan State women's cross country team placed fifth at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial, hosted by Jefferson College on Saturday afternoon.
 
Lady Bear Rachel Field led Morgan State with a fourth-place finish. Field finished the 6k meter run at Belmont Plateau Park in a time of 25:03.20. It was the fourth consecutive meet that Field finished as Morgan's top runner.
 
Host Jefferson (Pa.) College won the team title with 57 points, Lebanon Valley (68 points) was second and Felician (75 points) placed third. Philadelphia Runner Track Club (78) was fourth, followed by Morgan State (131) at fifth.  
 
Michelle Kamara crossed the line in a time of 27:43.10 to place 30^th and Jessica Lamborn finished 35^th. Jalissa Emmens (28:29.20) and Yasmine George (28:31.30) finished 40^th and 41^st, respectively.
 
Morgan State returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 16, when it travels to Gettysburg, Pa. for the Aubrey Shenk Invite hosted by Gettysburg College.
