BALTIMORE, Md. --Â The Jets have signed WR Manasseh Bailey to a reserve/future deal.
Bailey (6-1, 195), signed with the Eagles in May 2020 as an undrafted free agent out of Morgan State, was cut at the end of training camp and spent time with the Chargers' practice squad in the 2020 season.
The Capitol Heights (Md.) product finished his career among Morgan State's all-time leaders in receptions.Â
The 6-foot-1, 195-pound speedster finished the season ranked 3rd in the MEAC in receiving yards (996 yds) – it ranks as the 2nd highest total in Morgan State history behind Clarence Holzendorf (1,702 yds; 1993).Â

Bailey also ranked among the league leaders: 3rd in reception TDs (10), 4th in receptions (54),  6th in scoring TDs (11), and 8th in scoring (68 pts).Â
Bailey, who converted from LB to WR his sophomore season in 2017, had 73 receptions, 1,369 yards and 14 TDs in 22 games for the Bears. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.39 seconds.
