Final Results

LANDOVER, Md. (March 1, 2020)-The 2020 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Indoor Track & Field championships came to an end on Saturday from the Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex. Morgan State wrapped up Championship Saturday with three Lady Bears reaching the podium, as the squad finished the weekend with a total of 46.50 points to place seventh.
 
North Carolina A&T State's Lady Aggies claimed their fourth straight team title, ironically scoring 165 points just like its men's program, which also won for a fourth consecutive year. Norfolk State finished second with 131 points and Bethune-Cookman came in third with 82. Maryland Eastern Shore (56) and Howard (50.50) placed fourth and fifth, respectively.
 
Valencia McDowell and Alantra Mines each placed third in their respective events to reach the podium. McDowell ran a time of 2:16.85 to finish third in the 800 meter run and Mines had a leap of 40-11.75 to come in third in the triple jump. McDowell and Mines would each earn third-team All-MEAC honors.
 
The Lady Bears' 4X400 meter relay team of Dinedye Denis, Michelle Kamara, Alantra Mines and Kimani Davis finished fourth after crossing the line in 3:53.05.
 
Other top 10 finished came from Jalissa Emmens, who placed seventh in the mile run in a time of 5:13.05. Alliayah Ottley, who advanced to Saturday's finals in the 60 meter hurdles, also came in seventh in a time of 8.90 seconds.
 
In the shot put, Jaida West had a toss of 37-05.75 to place 10^th.
