Women’s Bowling Announces 2021 Schedule

2021 MSU Bowling Schedule

BALTIMORE, Md. (Dec. 29, 2020)-Morgan State head women's bowling coach Thomas Falbo has announced the 2021 Lady Bears' schedule. The six-event schedule will feature four non-conference contests, as well as a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) meeting and will conclude with the MEAC Championship.

"COVID-19 has made us all pause and insure our safety for all student-athletes and coaches,"said Falbo. "That is how we will be guided as we approach the Spring semester. What it's also done is take our ladies away from their passion, which is NCAA women's bowling."

"I'm an optimist, so we've planned our Spring schedule as our Morgan ladies are eager and ready to begin practicing and competing again."

Highlighted on the schedule for the upcoming season is a trip to Waynesboro, Pa., to take part in the Mount St. Mary's Shootout (Jan. 23-24). The Lady Bears will return back to Baltimore for the Coppin State Invitational hosted by Coppin State on Jan. 30-31. Two weeks later the Lady Bears will hold their annual tournament, when they host the James Brown Invitational scheduled for Feb. 12-14 in Towson, Md.

Morgan State will be in action the following week when it competes in the lone MEAC competition of the season on Feb. 19-21, hosted by North Carolina A&T State in Greensboro, N.C. The Lady Bears look to close out the regular season March 12-14. The event and location is still to be determined.

The 2021 MEAC Championship will take place in Chesapeake, Va. and will run from March 19-21.
