Donte Small Named to All-ECAC Team

BALTIMORE, Md. (Dec. 17, 2018)– Sophomore standout cornerback Donte Small was named to the 2018 ECAC FCS Football All-Star Team, being placed on the second team.
 
It is the second 2018 postseason honor for Small, who was also named first team All-MEAC in November.
 
The Union, N.J. native started all eleven games as a sophomore and led the league with four interceptions. He collected three of his picks at UAlbany (Sept. 15), including one he returned 45 yards for a touchdown. Small ranked T-No. 7 in the nation in passes defended (15) and ranked fifth on the team with 31 tackles (28 solo) from his cornerback position.
 
Over his career, Small has recorded 48 tackles, 18 pass breakups and four interceptions.
