Lenier Tucker finished 40th overall to help pace the Morgan State Bears cross country team to a fifth-place finish at the 2015 Cappy Anderson Invitational hosted by Maryland Eastern Shore.

Tucker covered the eight-kilometer course in a time of 28:14.23 and his 40th place finish was among a pool of 64 runners in the field. Morgan State's 150 points were good enough for fifth place. Navy captured first place in the meet with 15 points, followed by Maryland Eastern Shore who finished second (57 pts), Seton Hall placed third (68 pts) and Coppin State finished in fourth place (115 pts).

rd with a time of 29:12.95, while freshman
Markese Miller placed 46
th with a time of 19:32.90.

The Bears will compete Friday, October 2nd at the DSU Hornet Invitational in Smyrna, Delaware.
