Men’s Cross Country Places Third at Hornet Invitational

DOVER, Del. –
 Junior Lenier Tucker finished 12th overall to help pace the Morgan State Bears cross country team to a third-place finish at the 2015 Hornet Invitational in Dover, Delaware.
 
Tucker covered the five-kilometer course in a time of 17:25.10 and his 12th place finish was among a pool of 34 runners in the field.  Morgan State's 77 points as a team were third to Coppin State who finished second (50 pts), and Maryland-Eastern Shore who had 21 points to take home the team title.
 
Junior Onyx Johnson finished 13th with a time of 17:37.30, while freshman Markese Miller placed 15th with a time of 17:58.60.
 
Freshman Kyle Williams and junior Xavier Knight crossed the finish line in 18th (19.19.70) and 19th place (19:29.00), respectively.

The Bears will compete Saturday at the Cappy Anderson Invitational hosted by UMES.
