Andrew King Added to CFPA National FCS Special Teams Watch List

BALTIMORE, Md. -- Morgan State redshirt-senior wide receiver Andrew King has been named to the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) National FCS Special Teams Watch List as a punt returner.

The Columbia, Maryland product has been an absolute headache for opponents on special teams. The 5-foot-9, 170 pound speedster has amassed 206 yards on 10 punt returns (20.6 avg), including a 66-yard return for a touchdown against Hampton on Oct. 17.

King has also been among the league's leading receivers with 37 receptions (No. 4 in MEAC) for 460 yards (51.1 avg/g; No. 8), including three touchdowns. Against Florida A&M (Nov. 14), he recorded a career-high 168 yards on six catches and scored on an 83-yard pass from Moses Skillon.

King is currently the school's No. 7 all-time leading receptions leader with 113 career catches...one shy of tying Jesse Humphrey (1992-93) for No. 6 all-time (114). He also has 1,396 career receiving yards heading into the Bears season finale game against Norfolk State on Saturday.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Hughes Stadium and will mark "Senior Day" for the Bears.
