BALTIMORE, Md. (March 8, 2026) – The Morgan State acrobatics and tumbling team will return to Hill Field House this Sunday, hosting Francis Marion University at 2 p.m.
The Lady Bears will enter the meet with strong momentum after earning their first win of the season on the road last week against Long Island University (234.925-229.115).
Morgan State was able to deliver strong performances in the tumbling and team events to secure the victory. This ultimately marked an important step of improvement as they continue to build extreme confidence still early within the season.
It was the program's first win over the Sharks in three meetings, as well as the first career victory at Morgan State for first-year head coach Agina Simpkins.

The victory against Long Island University allowed the Lady Bears to showcase their growth and improvement as they continue competing against the early portion of the schedule.
Francis Marion will be traveling to Baltimore, looking to challenge Morgan State in what is looking to be a competitive match-up.
The Patriots (0-3) are coming off a loss to King University (232.895-219.460) on Feb. 26.
As they look to build on last week's success in Sunday's meet, the Lady Bears will have another opportunity to compete in front of their home crowd at Hill Field House as they aim to deliver another strong performance with high energy, showcasing much progress as the season continues.
