BALTIMORE, Md. (March 25, 2026)--The Morgan State acrobatics and tumbling team will return to the mat to face hometown rival, Stevenson University, on Thursday night at 6 p.m. at Hill Field House.

The Lady Bears (3-2) aim to continue their winning streak after earning their third straight win of the season, defeating Caldwell University (279.225-211.560).

Morgan State came out strong, setting the tone early by taking the lead in the compulsory event with an impressive score of 35.600. The team continued to build momentum, posting a meet-high 9.750 in the pyramid heat—further showcasing their consistency and dominance in the event this season.

The Lady Mustangs (1-2) earned a forfeit victory over American International last Saturday. Stevenson's last competition was March 5 at Georgian Court University, which it would lose, 107.950-190.275.

Stevenson opened the meet in the compulsory event, posting a total score of 20.05. The Mustangs' strongest performance came in Pyramid Heat 1 (Inversion), where they earned an 8.50 after beginning with a 10.00 start value.

As they look to build on last week's success in Thursday's meet, the Lady Bears will have another opportunity to compete in front of their home crowd at Hill Field House as they aim to deliver another strong performance with high energy, showcasing much progress as the season continues.
