Register Today for National Girls & Women in Sports Day

BALTIMORE, Md. - Morgan State University Athletics is proud to invite the community to celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day with a free youth sports clinic on Saturday, February 7, on the Morgan State University campus.

The clinic is open to youth ages 5–12 and provides a fun, engaging opportunity for young participants to learn fundamental sports skills directly from current Morgan State University student-athletes. The event is designed to inspire confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sports in young girls.

Event Details:

  • Date: Saturday, February 7

  • Where: Hurt Gymnasium

  • Check-In: 11:45 a.m.

  • Clinic Time: 12:30 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.

  • Ages: 5–12

  • Cost: Free


Participating Sports: Acrobatics & Tumbling, Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross Country/Track & Field, Flag Football, Softball, Tennis, Volleyball
 

A limited number of free T-shirts will be available for clinic participants.

In addition to the clinic, all participants will receive free admission to an exciting doubleheader of Morgan State Bears basketball at Hill Field House.

  • Women's Basketball vs. UMES at 2:00 p.m.

  • Men's Basketball vs. UMES at 4:00 p.m.

National Girls & Women in Sports Day is a nationwide celebration recognizing the achievements of girls and women in sports while encouraging participation and leadership through athletics. Morgan State University Athletics is proud to support this initiative by creating meaningful experiences for the next generation.
