Acrobatics And Tumbling To Hold Orange & Blue Showcase On Thursday

BALTIMORE, Md., ( Jan. 20, 2026)--A new era is set to begin for Morgan State Acrobatics and Tumbling as the Bears prepare to launch their 2026 season under new leadership, bringing renewed energy and optimism to the program.
 
Morgan State, which enters its third season of competition, is led by first-year head coach Agina Simpkins, who brings more than 25 years of experience to the program. A seven-time member of the United States National gymnastics team, Simpkins arrives with a proven background of excellence and a vision centered on growth, discipline, and competitiveness. Her leadership marks an important step forward as the program continues to build toward sustained success.
 
The Lady Bears will give fans an early preview of the 2026 squad during the annual Orange & Blue Showcase, where the team will debut new skills, routines, and combinations developed throughout the offseason. The event is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, at 6 p.m. inside Hill Field House and will serve as an opportunity for supporters to see the team's progress firsthand.
