HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Aug. 30, 2025)--Morgan State freshman setter
Isabelle Brown was named to the 2025 Betty Austin Invitational All-Tournament Team.

The announcement came at the conclusion of South Carolina State's 3-1 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday afternoon to wrap up the tournament and give the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) a 5-4 win over the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) in the nine matches played over the weekend.

A native of Avon, Ind., Brown totaled 107 assists, 17 digs, five kills, four service aces and three blocks in the three matches played.

In her Morgan State debut, Brown recorded 31 assists, four digs, and a service ace, while hitting .400 with two kills. Against host Alabama A&M, she had 27 assists, four digs and a picked up her first collegiate block.

In Saturday morning's finale, Brown collected a new season-high 49 assists, while adding nine digs, three kills, three service aces and two blocks, all season-highs.

Joining Brown on the Betty Austin Invitational All-Tournament Team were Gerren Tomlin and Naz Tuncay of Delaware State, Rayishon Jackmon and Fatima Ramirez of Alabama A&M, Ariana Brown and Jordan Felix of Southern, Macey McCoy of South Carolina State and Ashanti Butler from Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
 Morgan State will return home to host the annual Morgan/Towson Invitational (Sept. 5-6) at Hill Field House. The Bears open up on Friday against Quinnipiac, before closing out the opening day against Stonehill. Morgan will then face Kent State to close out the tournament on Saturday.
