BALTIMORE, Md. (April 9, 2025) -- As the 2025 season comes to a close, the Morgan State Acrobatics & Tumbling team is set to light up Hill Field House one last time in a thrilling regular-season finale. On Thursday, April 10 at 6 p.m., the Bears will face off against first-year program Missouri State in a highly anticipated "Battle of the Bears." This showdown isn't just about bragging rights—it's about building legacies.
Thursday's meet also marks Senior Night, as Morgan will honor three trailblazing seniors: Lavell Isom, Indian Mitter, and Amaya Burns. Their leadership, resilience, and dedication have been instrumental in laying the foundation for Morgan's newest sport.
Fresh off an impressive win over Stevenson University, Morgan (2-5) looks to close the season with back-to-back victories. The Bears have shown tremendous growth in execution and chemistry throughout the year and aim to finish strong in front of their home crowd.
Missouri State (1-6), also navigating its inaugural NCATA season, heads to Baltimore hungry for its first win. Under the guidance of head coach Kimberlee Adkins, a retired cheerleader and expert in sports performance, the Missouri Bears have steadily progressed and promise to be fierce competitors.
