UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (Feb. 11, 2025)--The Morgan State women's indoor track and field team returned to Penn State for the second consecutive weekend in a row, as it competed in the Sykes & Sabock Challenge held at Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track.

Morgan State would finish with five top-10 performances, including one individual title.

How It Happened
- A week after placing third in the long jump at the Penn State National Open with a season-best mark, graduate student Tia Jackson returned to Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track and this time won the long jump title. Jackson would jump 19-03.25 (5.87m) to claim the individual title.
- Keira Stewart would record a season-best mark in the long jump with a leap of 18-02.50 (5.55m) to place sixth.
- Makenzie Harris ran a time of 8.65 seconds to place fourth in the 60-meter hurdles.
- Hemetii Apet placed eighth in the triple jump after recording a jump of 36-06.75 (11.14m).
- Brylan Carter had a throw of 51-07.25 (15.73m) to come in 10th in the weight throw.
Next Up: Morgan State will now travel to Lynchbug, Va., to compete in the Darius Dixon Memorial Meet, hosted by Liberty University (Feb. 14-15).
