Moore Completes Regular Season with Sixth Rookie of the Week Honor

BALTIMORE, Md. (Nov. 24, 2025) – As the 2025 regular season wraps up, one Bear capped his freshman campaign with yet another conference accolade.

Redshirt freshman Raymond Moore III — announced earlier today as a finalist for the 15th Annual Jerry Rice Award — has been named the MEAC Rookie of the Week for the second straight week and the sixth time this season, boosting Morgan State's total to 16 conference awards in 2025.

In Saturday's season finale against North Carolina Central, the Baltimore product threw for 111 yards on 12-of-21 passing with one touchdown, while also adding 53 rushing yards on 16 carries and a rushing score.

Moore delivered an impressive debut season for the Bears. Across nine games, including six starts, he threw for 1,049 yards on 90-of-166 passing with nine touchdowns and seven interceptions. He also showcased his dual-threat ability with 414 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns.

With a strong foundation in place, the future looks bright for Moore — and for the Bears — as he continues to grow in the program.
