The Morgan State Bears have been selected as the HBCU+ National Team of the Week for FCS college football games in Week 11 this past weekend.
HBCU+ is the popular streaming platform of Urban Edge Network, offering 24/7 access to live and on-demand HBCU sports events, original sports shows, curated films, podcasts and more.

Morgan State (36-28 win at Delaware State)
The Bears (5-5, 2-1) overcame a fourth-quarter deficit for the second consecutive week while positioning themselves in the MEAC title race in advance of a home game against first-place South Carolina State. Sahr Gbunema's third field goal put coach Damon Wilson's team ahead 30-28, then Andre Crawley added a 16-yard touchdown run. Jason Collins Jr. finished with 24 carries for 152 yards and a TD, while defensive end Lance Byndon had two sacks among his five tackles.

Included in the 2024 college football season are both HBCU FCS Player and Team of the Week honors and a season-ending HBCU FCS National Player of the Year Award, each presented by HBCU+.
