Smith Adds Transfer Kaylyn Angelle From Emmanuel College

BALTIMORE, Md. (June, 24, 2023)--Morgan State acrobatics and tumbling head coach Regina Smith announced the signing of transfer Kaylyn Angelle from Emmanuel College in Georgia.
 
Angelle comes from Beaumont, Texas where she graduated as a homeschooled senior from Excellence Christian Academy. Angelle has been a member of the Jack and Jill Beaumont Chapter for 10 years and served as the Chapter Teen President. She competes athletically as a Level-5 cheerleader and Level-8 gymnast, earning 400+ medals. She has played the viola for five years and is an entrepreneur with her own eyelash extension company. 
 
At Emmanuel College, Angelle competed in compulsory tumbling, tumbling heats that included but not limited to trio and quad. Angelle also competed solo in the aerial tumbling heat. Angelle transfers with a cumulative 3.17 grade point average. 
 
"We are thrilled to add Kaylyn to our inaugural acrobatics and tumbling team. Kaylyn will bring an overall utility to our program," said Smith. "Kaylyn is considered a triple threat. Angelle can base, be a top, and tumble. We are excited about the experience she will bring to the team."
 
At Morgan State University, Angelle will continue her pursuit of education in Sports Administration.
