NORFOLK, Va. (May 3, 2023)--Morgan State junior
Tia Jackson was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women's Field Athlete of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola, the conference office announced on Wednesday. This is the third weekly honor this season for Jackson.

Howard junior Darci Khan was selected as Women's Track Athlete of the Week.

A native of Bristol, United Kingdom, Jackson won the college women's long jump at the 127
th running of the Penn Relays at historic Franklin Field on the University of Pennsylvania campus. Jackson finished with a leap of 6.11 meters (20 feet, 0.5 inches). It was her fifth consecutive high jump victory this season.

The Lady Beas will now turn their attention to the MEAC Outdoor Championships (May 11-13) held at Dick Price Stadium on the campus of Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Va.
